I'm back for another nail polish post! Whew! It took me a long while to post another one because I find myself losing interest in painting my nails. I just haven't got the time and manicures rarely last more than four days on me now due to house chores and tending to my kid. Anyway, I am going to force myself from now on to post NOTWs so I can use all the untried polishes in my stash which are a lot.

Zoya Alicia |
Back to the post, I am wearing Zoya Alicia which was from their Urban Grunge Fall/Winter collection last year. It was the collection that piqued my interest in the brand again because they kept churning out similar colors with similar finishes season after season, year after year which bored me. This collection, surprisingly, had six cremes and six metallic/shimmer polishes that were gorgeous and unique. I almost bought all the metalllic/shimmer ones but restrained myself and got only four, hehe.

Alicia on mah nails! |
Zoya Alicia is a silver holographic glitter polish. Due to the finish, it needs three coats to be opaque but I applied only two. I prefer the slightly translucent look of the polish with my nails peeking through. What sets this apart from other silver holographic polishes is it's champagne yellow tinge under certain lights, so cool and sooo unique.

All dressed up and nowhere to go (said my nails) |
Another thing I like about Zoya Alicia is it's a low-maintenance polish. I don't have to be super careful during application due to its glitter finish. I also don't need to be super vigilant about tip wear and chipping because it's not evident unlike cremes and color polishes. No worries at all, great for stay at home moms like me who consider manicures a luxury and a burden.

Daddy finger is all pimped! |
How about you, what's your favorite low maintenance polish? How long do you keep it on your nails?
